Selection help

How to choose a rice mill

Four things decide which model fits, before price is even discussed.

Start from your daily paddy volume

A single 300 kg/h husker covers roughly one to two tonnes in a working day. Match throughput to the paddy you actually have in a harvest week, not to the best case.

Decide husking and whitening separately

Husking turns paddy into brown rice. Whiting and polishing turn brown rice into white rice. Many small mills start with husking and add the 2.2 kW whitener when demand for white rice appears.

Check your power supply first

The electric models in this range are specified at 2.2 kW. Tell us your voltage and frequency so the motor is matched to your site before the machine is built.

Plan for spares

Rubber rollers, screens and belts wear. Order the common wear parts with the machine so a single failure does not stop production while a replacement ships.

Questions

Rice Mill questions buyers ask

Answers written against the capacities and prices we publish, not against a template.

What size rice mill do I need for a small farm?

For one family or a village holding, the 300 kg/h paddy husker or a portable mini rice mill is usually enough. The husker removes husk from paddy at 300 kg/h and the mini mill combines milling, peeling and crushing in one electric unit. Commercial mills combine several units.

How much does a rice mill machine cost?

Published unit prices for the current rice mill range run from US$420 to US$519 per set, depending on model. The final price depends on configuration, quantity and destination port, so every order is quoted individually. Ask on WhatsApp for the price today.

Can you ship a rice mill to Nigeria or Kenya?

Yes. We quote both FOB and CIF terms and regularly ship to African markets. Send your destination port and the model you want, and we will confirm freight, packing and lead time for that route before you place the order.

Do you supply spare parts for rice mill machines?

Yes. Wear parts such as rubber rollers, screens and drive belts are supplied with orders and can be reordered separately. Tell us the model and the part you need and we will confirm availability and the fastest shipping option to your port.

What is the difference between a rice huller and a rice mill?

A rice huller, also called a paddy husker, only removes the outer husk from paddy, producing brown rice. A rice mill goes further and whitens or polishes the grain. Small processors often buy the huller first and add whitening capacity later.
