Factory, Quality Control and Certifications

This page sets out what can be checked about how our machines are made, and what cannot yet be published. Buyers evaluating a supplier should be able to see the difference, so we state both.

Third-party assessment

The factory has been assessed on site by a third-party inspection body (SGS). The assessment report, and the on-site inspection material that goes with it, can be sent to a buyer on request. We describe the result as an assessed factory rather than quoting an assessment grade, because the grade is only meaningful next to the report.

The supplier profile also carries an on-site verification of the legal status and premises by the platform itself. That verification is separate from the SGS assessment and we do not merge the two into one claim.

Quality control steps

Two declared steps govern production: raw material identification and traceability, and finished product inspection. In practice this means incoming material is identified and recorded against the order, and each finished machine is inspected before it is packed.

Customisation capability

Minor customisation and drawing-based customisation are offered. If a machine has to match an existing line, a local power supply or a specific crop, send the drawing or the requirement with the enquiry and we will confirm what can be changed and what the change does to the price and lead time.

Assembly capacity

Production runs across three partner factories, which is what allows a small order and a larger production order to be handled at the same time. The factory that will build a given machine is confirmed with the quotation on request.
