Selection help

How to choose a harvesting & picking machinery

Four things decide which model fits, before price is even discussed.

Two-wheel or self-propelled, decided by field shape

The single-row machine with a 1500 mm cut suits narrow headlands and small blocks. Self-propelled combines with a wider cut suit long runs where turning time is a small part of the day.

Match throughput to your haulage

A 60 t/h harvester produces cane faster than most small haulage fleets can move it. Plan trailers and infield transport before you buy the bigger machine.

Chopped or whole stalk changes your logistics

Machines with an onboard chopper deliver billet cane that must reach the mill quickly. Whole-stalk harvesting tolerates longer storage but needs more manual handling at the mill.

Tell us the crop if it is not cane

This page lists the harvesting range currently published. If you need a combine harvester for rice, wheat or maize, send the crop, area and budget and we will confirm what can be supplied and on what lead time.

Questions

Harvesting & Picking Machinery questions buyers ask

Answers written against the capacities and prices we publish, not against a template.

Do you supply mini combine harvesters for rice or wheat?

The harvesting range published today is sugarcane combine harvesters in single-row, 200 HP and 360 HP options at up to 60 t/h. No mini combine harvester model is published, so send your crop, plot size and budget and we will confirm exactly what we can supply and when.

How much does a sugarcane combine harvester cost?

Published unit prices for the single-row and 200 HP cane harvesters are around US$15,000 to US$15,300 per set, with the larger 360 HP machine quoted on request. Final price depends on configuration, attachments and destination port, so each order is quoted individually.

What does the 60 t/h rating mean in practice?

Sixty tonnes per hour is the harvesting rate published for these machines under normal field conditions. Real output falls with lodged cane, wet ground or short rows. Match the machine to your haulage capacity so cane is not left standing in the field.

What support does a harvester need on site?

Expect to hold consumable knives and filters, a trained operator, and daily greasing. Before ordering, confirm diesel quality and availability on site, and tell us the field conditions so the machine is configured for your soil and cane variety.
